Hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc

The Tour du Mont Blanc, or TMB, is a world-class multi-day hike which circumnavigates the Mont Blanc massif and in doing so, takes you through three Alpine nations - France, Italy and Switzerland. The tour is justifiably popular, giving hikers and trail runners a little bit if everything: stupendous views, a variety of cultures and the stiff challenge of crossing at least four alpine passes. It also offers quaint alpine refuges serving rustic, local cuisine and an abundance of flora and fauna by the side of the trail. Besides the aforementioned refuges, accommodation may also be found in hotels in sleepy mountains villages and the bustling alpine resort of Chamonix.
